Quality Management

At Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, quality is a way of life. We have implemented systems to ensure that products manufactured at our facilities in Singapore meet or exceed customer requirements on quality and reliability.

Our in-house laboratories are equipped with advanced analytical tools, providing the necessary equipment and resources for our engineering and research and development staff to continuously enhance product quality and reliability. Our quality assurance staff comprises engineers, technicians and other employees who constantly monitor and control the manufacturing processes.

Our production facilities in Singapore are certified by the International Organization for Standardization, or ISO, to meet ISO 9001 standards. We also achieved ISO/TS16949 certification in May 2005. Commonly referred to as TS2, this certification is currently considered to be one of the most comprehensive quality standards in the industry. ISO 9001 and TS2 involve stringent periodic third-party review and verification of our production processes and quality procedures.
