Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Relocates US Office
San Jose, CA -- March 19, 1997 -- Chartered Semiconductor
Manufacturing has announced its relocation from San Jose to a new, larger
facility in Milpitas, California. The new one-story building, which contains
over 45,000 square feet, will be the Company's US headquarters for marketing,
sales, finance and administrative services, as well as engineering support
staff for customers in North America.
Ray Hawkins, senior vice president, marketing and sales, for Chartered,
said, "The new facility accommodates our increasing staff and aggressive
business plans, while giving us the necessary space to provide better service
to our customers."
