Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Opens East Coast Office
Managing Director named to head-up new
facility
Waltham, MA and Milpitas, CA -- 5, 1997 -- Chartered Semiconductor
Manufacturing has announced the opening of a new sales office in Waltham,
Massachusetts. The office will support Chartered's customers in eastern North
America.
Donald O'Rourke has joined the company as managing director for the new
facility. Just prior to joining Chartered, Mr. O'Rourke was director of sales
for Eastern North America for Frontline Design Automation, a division of
Avanti Corporation. Mr. O'Rourke's other experience includes over 30 years of
sales experience, including executive positions at such companies as Avanti
Corporation, Brooktree Corporation, LSI Logic and Advanced Micro Devices.
